(OP)
Does anyone have experience with acid gas flaring? I want to develop a system that recognizes the early warning signs that this action will become necessary and the best practices response to avoid this malfunction.

RE: acid gas flaring avoidance system

Resultimate:
Maybe you need to clarify this, in order to be adviced. What kind of process you have? I used to work with one "acid gas flare" to burn a very little amount of SH2 and other sulphidic gases. As this "acid gas" stream was coming from a stripper of C5+ of an ethane cracker with CH4, and the stream was originally very sweet, there were no combustion or environmental problems.
Regards; have a safe day.
