Carel protocol

Hi everybody!

I work for company that manufactures machine vision systems for sawmilling industry. All the data is processed with powerful industrial PC´s installed to a computer cabinet. This cabinet requires a lot of cooling. Recently our cabinet manufacturer Rittal provided new type of cooling system which has Carel cooler controller built inside. This controller has RS485/422 connection to outside world. My question is that does anyone have information about the Carel RS485 communication protocol.

And yes, I did the search for this forum with very slim results.

Best Regards

Julius

RE: Carel protocol

The following link gives the RS485 information. This may not be the definitive link but I am unaware who wrote the RS485 spec.

Thanks, BillPSU for your reply

Good link for RS485. Still looking for information for Carel Standard Protocol. It´s no good knowing how to connect a device if you don´t know how to talk with it.

Regards

Julius
