cometic threads on an array

(OP)
When I array a hole that is diplaying a cosmetic thread, the cosmetic thread doesn't show on the arrayed holes.
Anyone know how to tell SW to copy the thread on the array command?

SW 2004 SP1

Thanks,

DG

RE: cometic threads on an array

Lingo:
Array = Circular pattern

A pattern simply patterns the geometry and not the cosmetic thread. (Correct Design intent) You should add the points in at the HZ sketch instead of making a Circular pattern after the fact.

There is no way to do what you ask.

Have you read FAQ731-376 to make the best use of Eng-Tips Forums?

RE: cometic threads on an array

Are you talking about the cosmetic thread that is the dashed lines, or the cosmetic thread texture?

The dashed lines automatically pattern with the hole on my machine (SP4 EV).  Maybe it is a problem with SP1?

If it is the texture, that is a known issue.

BTW, I really prefer to have all holes which serve the same function to be in a pattern instead of multiple points in the Hole Wizard.  It makes using derived patterns in the ass'y much easier.
