WF2 & Update Tables

WF2 & Update Tables

WF2 & Update Tables

(OP)
I have a table BOM on my assy drawing; half right & half wrong.

The Item ID#, Part Description and Balloon placement are correct.

The Part Names (part number) are the "main assy" part number repeated all the way down the table.  And the Qty does not fill in anything.

Has anyone else had a problem in WR2 with repeat region & updating tables?

RE: WF2 & Update Tables

Cehall,

Set the repeat region table attributes to NO DUPLICATES and you'll get the qtys.

RE: WF2 & Update Tables

(OP)
No Duplicates nor No Dup/Level seemed to have no effect (yesterday).  Seems today to work just fine.  Must be one of the "you got to get out of ProE and back in to get it to work" things.  Just getting everything out of RAM does not get rpt.qty to work.

But the field of part numbers ... still only fills in the "assy" part number thru-out the column versus each part number.

RE: WF2 & Update Tables

In the bom use this code to get the assembly components to show the descriptions.

&asm.mbr.description

This has always worked for me.

Take anything free, even if it is a kick in the pants, you may need it.

RE: WF2 & Update Tables
