SheetMetal -- Flat pattern view in draft mode (bending detail)

SheetMetal -- Flat pattern view in draft mode (bending detail)

(OP)
Hi people.

We know it is possible to display a flattened part with bend lines in draft mode.

Is it also possible to display automatically (while we are creating the view or after editing properties)the bend details near each bend line. For example: "Bend UP 90 deg."

Thanks in advance for helpers.

RE: SheetMetal -- Flat pattern view in draft mode (bending detail)

Hi,

To create a flat pattern, go to model/flat pattern in your psm file and click a face and an edge. Save the file.

To create the flat view in the draft, click 'drawing view assistant' and choose 'Flat pattern' with the 'top' orientation and place your view.

To create an annotation that contains info about the bend, click 'callout', add the bend info you need with the two icons at the bottom right, add a leader, click on the bend line and place the annotation.

Regards,

Fred
