Hi

How do I make a ‘’half section cut’’ when I want to make a rendering of the assembly after. I have tried with the subtract operation but I get in trouble with the parts owned by other in the company.

thanks for the tips.
Because of the revising rules in the company, the Wave function is not active.
But I think the Promotion function can help me

Promote all components, then in the assembly file, insert a datum plane to represent a straight sectioning plane.  Use trim body to cut away the half you don't want to keep.  I tested it on a very simple assembly & it worked.
