RIO Files

RIO Files

Does anyone know where I can find RIO (Relay Interface by OMICRON) files on the internet? I am specifically looking for the RIO file for a GE Multilin T60 transformer protection relay.

SEL, Siemens and ABB have these files available, but I cannot find any for the new (UR Family) GE relays.

Regards.

I forgot to add, this RIO file is to test the Transformer Differential function using the Omicron Test Set.

RE: RIO Files

RIO files for GE multilin may be hard to find if they haven't collaberated with OMICRON. I think you will find it to be same for most ALSTOM/Areva relays.

But personally I don't see much of a problem because you can use the differental or the Advanced differential module in the OMICRON test Universe to test for any setting of any manufacturer's relay.
Just takes a little more effort to set up the test conditions but you end up knowing the relay better.

RE: RIO Files

User forum at Omicron website have lots of RIO files

Thanks, Aakhrinaam. I ended up doing the RIO File myself last week. You are right about learning more in the process.
I wanted something to compare it to, but the test results obviously speak for itself.

Happy, testing...
