RE: Rotating around a vertex or edge

I've been using SW for 5 years and I didn't know that.  Lets not be too hard on him.

RE: Rotating around a vertex or edge

I don't mean to seem harsh. I just think instead of posting a number of idea posts. Try putting them into a FAQ? That away if the question is asked again you can link them to the FAQ.

In the FAQ I would put detailed instruction on how to do it.

RE: Rotating around a vertex or edge

It was welcome news to me.

RE: Rotating around a vertex or edge

I agree with all of you.  No need to be harsh (which I dont think Scott was being overly harsh) but after 5 posts of tiny "Did you Know" tidbits it was time to suggest a FAQ.  Perhaps that's a great idea, a "Did you know" FAQ that we could all add to with lots of our own input.  We all do things in different ways dependning on what is productive for us.  Perhaps the way you extrude a block would benefit someone else that never realized you can do it another way.  An old tool maker once taught me that you can learn something new from even the most novice person, but only if you are willing listen.  When you know it all, its time to find something else to do.
