Angled Viewports

I am using AutoCAD LT 2002. Just wondering if there is a way to have your veiwport with angled borders - ie not your regular rectangle, say a triangle instead.

RE: Angled Viewports

iken

I'm not sure about LT but in 2002 you can go to:

View....Viewport....Polygonal Viewport.

LT doesn't have this option. I guess this is one more limitation of LT

RE: Angled Viewports

iken,

search inside Your templates and *.dwg made by Autodesk. Maybe You will find a polygonal viewport.
If yes, customize it (grips)
If not, mail Your emailadress, You will get some viewports...

I have just had a look through templates. Only title blocks with no veiwproys. If you can email me something I can work with, I would greatly appriciate it.

Many thanks Exxit

RE: Angled Viewports

also not sure about the LT limitations, but in 2002 you can draw a polygon 1st, and use the 'object' variable to select that polygon to be your viewport?
