MCC control room cooling

MCC control room cooling

MCC control room cooling

(OP)
I have a MCC control room which controls equipment for a ball mill and it needs cooling however, a standard HVAC unit does not work well, gets plugged - any other suggestions - small cabinets coolers? - still have an issue with the heat that needs to be let go and escape......

Recommendations please

RE: MCC control room cooling

You might have better luck in a mechanical (rather than electrical) forum. . . .

RE: MCC control room cooling

Although I agree with peebee about trying a group better suited for this kind of issue, I do have a suggestion to offer.
Vortex coolers are a viable, albeit expensive, cabinet cooling option for nasty environs. The use clean compressed air through a vortex tube which separates hot and cold air. You pump the cold air into the cabinet. Be forwarned though, they use a LOT of air which has to come from somewhere, and it can add up to high operating costs.

Vortec is one manufacturere that I have used, but there are others if you search.

RE: MCC control room cooling

Probably, an airconditioner located in the cleaner environment with some duct work between the airconditoiner and MCC could solve the problem.
