Viewport on top of another

Viewport on top of another

I'm using 2002. I have a large viewport that covers most of the sheet. Site is L shaped, so there is room to port in an insert. But the port will be on top of the larger port. Controlling the smaller port on top is a hassle. Seems to only recognize the larger port. Any control solutions??

Thanks.

I should add that I DO NOT want to use cookie cutter ports as they take too long to plot. Just need a way to click inside the smaller port....some way to toggle between the two would be nice.

RE: Viewport on top of another

Hi, Southerndrafter:

While in paperspace tile, you can toggle between viewports in Mspace, using Ctrl-R.

Hope that helps,

Roberttx.

Thanks Rob't! Just the thing I needed.

RE: Viewport on top of another

Hi,
Extend your inside vp so that it sticks out past you larger vp and toggle on the edge.

Thanks, but the control R works like a dream. Extending the smaller port can sometimes be a problem because of how packed the model info is. Things show up that shouldn't if I stretched it out too far.
