Omron cpm2a pulse instruction

Omron cpm2a pulse instruction

Iam having trouble learning about the programming for the cpm2a. The pulse instructions are considered expnasion instructions. When I try to download my program I get a download error message that the DIP switch setting or PC setting are not right. I have checked the default settings in the PC settings and have tried user-defined, niether has helped. I also wrote "1"'s to memory location 6602 bits 8 to 11 and that did not make a difference. I still can not find what I am missing. Iam wainting on a call back from Omron tech support but that does not solve afterhour problems. Any help would be appreciated

RE: Omron cpm2a pulse instruction

Have you tried turning the PLC off and then back on again after setting the appropriate bits before downloading the modified instruction set?

No, I need to download the setting file, then power down the PLC and then download the expnasion instructions? Good thought I will try that> Thanks
