Im working on a heat transfer analysis of a combustion chamber in which a propellant is burning and flowing at very high pressure (7.4MPa) and the flow is turbulent. The specific case for governing equations is the "turbulent flow in pipes".

In MSC/Nastran V4.5 WITHOUT the CFD module, is it possible for me to model the flow of a burning propellant in a tubular chamber? My goal is to determine the temperature of the outer wall of the chamber, by using the heat transfer analysis module of Nastran. When setting the loads on the inner walls of the chamber by FORCED CONVECTION method, I feed in data like Coefficient constant (0.024), reynolds exponent (0.8), Prandtl's exponent (0.33), the density (1830g/m2), dynamic viscosity (500 Ns/m2)& conductivity (5w/m-K) of the fluid and the temperature (1700K). But Important data is not included like the velocity of the fluid and time of burning, if the reynolds and prandtl numbers (which are INTERNALLY calculated) are to be calculated to determine the heat convective coefficient (hm). How is the reynolds number calculated without considering the turbulence of the fluid. Will my results be anywhere close to accurate?
