stop osnap from snapping to a hatch

(OP)
When I want to draw a line or something and osnap is turned
on it also snaps to lines that are in a hatch.
(endpoint, midpoint, intersection)

Can anyone tell me how i can stop autocad from snapping to hatch lines in a way that it stil snaps to lines, circles etc.?(I mean not by turning osnap off)

Thanks,
Paul.

RE: stop osnap from snapping to a hatch

Overriding running object snap modes can be turned off by right click the OSNAP button at the bottom of the screen.  This will bring up Drafting Setting dialog box and you can remove the active checks as needed to disable running object snaps.  You can also pick to disable all running modes or pick the select all to activate all object snaps.  Hope this helps - John
