standard +/- tolerances for plastic features

(OP)
Does anyone know of a good reference book that would contain both standard and precision tolerance that can be achieved on features such as bosses and hole for the injection molding process? (specific to types of material)
Thanks in advance!

RE: standard +/- tolerances for plastic features

Lori:

Plastics Engineering Handbook of the Society of the Plastics Industry has just what you’re looking for.

I have the 4th Edition by Joel Frados.  There is a newer version edited by Michael Berins.  It’s available from Van Nostrand Reinhold Company, New York.

If you get in a bind, drop me an e-mail.

Lori:

Dubois and Pribble's Plastics Mold Engineering Handbook edited by Buckleitner and Pribble also has the same data (at least in the edition I have).
