AutoCad 2000 : I do not know what happened, but I usually select an object and then right click the mouse and select what I want to do from the pull down menu. THE MENU THAT APPEARS HAS CHANGED. It now ends with "options" rather than "properties". Also when I select an object and click my "delete" key, nothing happens.

RE: Right click menu changed and cannot delete objects

Bearisle,

It is strange that Autocad will not erase an object with the delete key.  One option is to use the erase icon to see if that get rid of the object.  After the command is given, use regenall command to see if the object disappears.  What specially you want to do when you selecte the right button?  One possilibity is that your system administrator has upgraded your CAD system and these options are no longer available.  I am not sure what is going on with your system.  Hope this helps - John

Look at the system variable SHORTCUTMENU to control right click menus also.
