Can anyone suggest courses for reviewing the FE and the PE online? I have been out of school for 6 years and there are no review courses offered around here.  Thanks in advance.

RE: FE / PE Review Courses Online

The DOE has a great collection of downloadable info on all basic info for passing the PE exam. They are not made for PE purposes but are great to use to review. You will not find anything better that is free. Excellent review materials.

Your very welcome Lostsailor.
This is the same stuff that companies are selling via CD pack. Not sure how they get away with it but they are for now.

RE: FE / PE Review Courses Online

You might want to check out a company called MGI.  They are featured on the NSPE website if I remember correctly.  I was skeptical of their method but it worked:)  They broke the mechanical eng. exam into 5 modules.  At the end of each module was one to three 4-hour "mini-exams".  The exams are graded and then returned with comments.  The biggest help was getting used to working against the clock.

I passed the ME exam on the first try.  Most of my experience is in operations/supervision so I was definately weak in hands-on, detailed design work.  They offer a money back guarantee if you don't pass.  I figured any company who makes an offer like that must be confident of their course.

Good Luck!

Steven
