idw dimension problem

idw dimension problem

idw dimension problem

(OP)
When creating a dimension that shows an even foot length such as 6'-0", Inventor insists on showing only 6'-" without the 0. I constantly get questioned on this from our fabrication shop and need to figure out a way to correct this.

Can anyone help???

Thanks,

Bvan

RE: idw dimension problem

(OP)
Ok, I have figured out part of my problem.
This problem is because the dimension is not actually an even dimension such as a 6'-0" dimension is actually 72.0001" and so the idw file dimension shows 6'-" letting me know that there is more there then just 72".

I know the easy solution would be to just change the part to show 72.0000 but this is a purchased part and we need to foresee and interferences with tolerance buildup. So it still would be nice if there was another solution to this problem.

If anyone can help I would be very happy!
