spring question

spring question

(OP)
I have modeled a helical spring and want to place it in an assembly is there any way to make the spring compress like an actual spring within the assy?

Thanks again

RE: spring question

Check out Thread559-91266. It answers the exact same question from a previous post.

from (the City of) Barrie, Ontario.

If you choke a smurf,   what color does it turn?

RE: spring question

There is a torsion spring model posted at <http://esoxrepublic.com/models>.  One of the features of this model is that its length is controlled by the length of a sketch segment.  Perhaps you could make use of this.
