Connect objects

(OP)
Hi,

I have two Objects (a simple Box or anything similar). These two objects are connected with a simple Line. Now, when I move one of these boxes I have to manually adjust the connecting Line.
Isn't there a way, the line adjusts itself as it's done in Microsoft's Visio?

This would help me a lot.

Thanks for any Help.

RE: Connect objects

One solution would be to use a fence to do your moving. Put a fence around the box you want to move and do an Inside Fence Stretch. Everything that overlaps the fence will deform with the fence movement.

Another option would be to play with a leader (dimension) line. You can associate one end of that with another element.

Finally, if you are not already using Fences, I would suggest you look into them more. They are a very powerful tool that those of us who date back before the Selection Set age are familliar with.

Good Luck,
