Generator conversion- B to A circuit

Generator conversion- B to A circuit

Generator conversion- B to A circuit

(OP)

I installed a LOM aircraft engine in my plane, the generator supplied is a B-circuit which is not compatible with American A-circuit voltage regulators. How do I reverse the field?

RE: Generator conversion- B to A circuit

It is my understanding that one circuit varies the ground of the field and the other varies the B+ to the field. An older auto generator text will illistrate this. A sharp generator rebuilder should be able to guide you further. Bub
