SW to Mastercam

SW to Mastercam

SW to Mastercam

(OP)
Situation,
I created a solid body in SW and imported it into Mastercam as an IGES.

Problem
My problem is, I cannot create features (lines, points...etc.)in Mastercam from the IGES model.

Example,
What I would like to do is to use a line from the IGES model (imported from SW into Mastercam) and create geometry using the IGES models features as reference lines.

I have also tried to import the SW model as a STEP file and for some reason, it is not opening up in Mastercam.

I have imported IGES and STEP models from CATIA V5R10 before into Mastercam and was able to use their features as a reference in Mastercam.

Solution,
Do I have to convert any identities, or can I convert solid bodies to a suitable format from SW to Mastercam?

I want to use the imported IGES features as reference points for my Mastercam model.

Thanks,

RE: SW to Mastercam

I've imported the SW model as a parasolid .x_t format...
Please omit my problem.
