Multiline text

Hi, I am having a problem when I go into multiline text, the box opens fine but as you type nothing appears in the box, it does however appear in the drawing when you click OK. More of an a annoyance than a real problem, but can anyone help?

Thanks in advance.

RE: Multiline text

Change the text color to white (even if the color is by layer and the layer color is white).  Or change to a true type font like Arial.

As far as I can tell, this disappearing text is a new feature of Autocad 2004.

RE: Multiline text

Another thing to check.  Go to your desktop display settings, go to appearance, effects, and turn off the check box next to smooth edges of screen fonts.

Typically this make the text hard to read, but I have not heard of it making it dissappear altogether.  It is still worth a look though.

Thanks guys, changing to a true style font worked but colour had no effect, desktop settings sorted it all.

Thanks again, now what else can I get stressed about?
