Drum switch wiring.

Drum switch wiring.

Drum switch wiring.

(OP)
Can a drum switch be use to reverse a dual voltage motor?
The motor is a 2hp 1phase 115/230 volts with 6 leads. Leads 8 and 3 have to be swapped from their original location in order to get reverse rotation. I does not look like it can be done with a drum switch.

RE: Drum switch wiring.

Yes it can be done. Double check the motor wiring diagram, its usually 5 and 8 that is swapped, not 3 and 8!
