Dual Monitor

Dual Monitor

Dual Monitor

(OP)
I just had my computer upgraded and I noticed that I have a video card that supports dual monitors.

I have never used a dual system before and I wanted to know if anyone has any experience, good or bad, with this.

I am specifically interested in the dual monitor use with SE V14 (soon to be 15).

Can SE be set up for dual monitors or is this something specific to the operating system W2000.

Any advice on running a dual monitor setup, even if it's not about SE, would also be appreciated.

RE: Dual Monitor

Hey James,

I use a dual monitor every day, with both UG and Solid Edge.  I usually have the UG on the primary (larger) monitor, and the second monitor comes in handy when working with Excel spreadsheets.  That way, I can take data from CAD, and paste it into Excel.

This is particularly useful in Solid Edge, where you can change values in your linked spreadsheet...

In short, once you use dual monitors at work, you will hate going back to a single monitor...

Hope this helps!
