Seismic and wind loads in Guinea

(OP)
Can anyone give me a hand or lead me to a place that can supply local siesmic and wind data for Guinea Africa that can be used in determining forces per ASCE 7 2002 for wind and IBC 2003 for seismic? Thanks

RE: Seismic and wind loads in Guinea

According ot US Army Corps of Engineers Technical Instructions TI 809-04 "Seismic Design for Buildings" Table 3-3 on p. 3-13 for Guinea Bissau Ss = 0.31 and S1 = 0.14.

You may find this on http://www.hnd.usace.army.mil/techinfo/
Go to Engineering Publications, then Instructions, then TI and chose TI 809-04 from list.

Sorry, no info on wind loads.

Good luck.
