specification tree V5 R12

specification tree V5 R12

specification tree V5 R12

(OP)
Often when we open a product or a part, the specification tree appears with most of the text labels missing. The symbols always appear ok, but the descriptions are either incomplete or missing altogether. This does not just happen at the start of a session, it can happen anytime.

The only way I have been able to rectify this is to shut Catia down and restart.

Anyone have any suggestions or have suffrered a similar problem?

Thanks

RE: specification tree V5 R12

Hi, It sounds like a graphics problem. Try reducing the hardware acceleration that your display uses (around the 1/3 mark should do it). You also want to ensure that you are using the latest device drivers for your graphics card (or at least a more recent stable version).

Sometimes the problem only appears when you have multiple documents open and closing a document can remove the problem. You may also want to try re-sizing the document, this can sometimes give a temporary fix.
