Voltage Transients and Fuel Pipelines

Voltage Transients and Fuel Pipelines

(OP)
Voltage Transients and Fuel Pipeline - is what I wonna search a little bit.
Our Project provides Lightning Protection and three existing Fuel Pipelines inside a lightning protection zone.
I found so many products on the market - such as Grounding Cells, Surge Protection.
I need article or information describing this kind of protection !!
Thank You.

RE: Voltage Transients and Fuel Pipelines

Given the potential consequences of design and operational errors, I would not rely on vendors keeping your firm’s best interests in mind.  Budget an experienced registered processional engineer to assist you in understanding the matter, and the related, unique aspects of corrosion protection of subsurface metallic systems.

Else, there will likely be significant financial and public-safety exposure.

Suggestion: Be prepared to apply a lot of copper and air terminals, if the pipeline is long. Incidentally, how long is the pipeline?
