Has anyone out there come across a Solidworks error message that reads "Attempted to use an object that has ceased to exist"

We use an embedded Word document for our general notes and
an embedded Excel document for our revision block for our pre 2004 drawings. Both are on the sheet format.  Occasionally we get the ".....ceased to exist" error and it is extremely frustrating. We normaly just re-start Solidworks and it goes away but lately that has not been working. Has anyone out there seen this and more importantly does anyone have a solution for it?
