Non perpindicular holes
Non perpindicular holes
(OP)
I am a (very) recent convert to SW from long use of Mechanical Desktop and can not figure out how to do the following
The part is a 3"OD x .25 wall x 12" long tube.
The tube has a horizontal and vertical plane along the axis
I want to put a threaded hole in the tube, perpendicular to the long axis of the tube and parallel to the horizontal plane, offset about 1/2" above the horizontal plane.
The hole wizard seems to understand threaded holes normal to the surface of the tube. I have not been able to make it do holes that are non perpendicular to the surface of the tube.
What am I missing?

RE: Non perpindicular holes
As a last resort you can always not use hole wizard and just cut a hole in the tube at the non-perpendicular angle.

Having one of your lackeys make one for you!
