Collapse at Charles de Gaulle

(OP)
A portion of the new passenger terminal at Paris' Charles de Gaulle airport collapsed today, five people were killed and injured. Terrible month for accidents.

RE: Collapse at Charles de Gaulle

Absolutely terrible. It is times like this that we all need reminding of the responsibilties we have as engineers. Apparently, there were problems with delays during construction and the programme may have been rushed at the end. The enquiry should reveal all.

The bridge girder in Canada, the explosion of a factory and office block in Glasgow and now this, it is indeed a bad month.
