Modify tilde?

Modify tilde?

Modify tilde?

(OP)
Does anyone know how to modify/change the tilde so that it is perpendicular to the leader?

Thanks

RE: Modify tilde?

Can you give a better explaination of what you mean?
To me a tilde is a ~.
Do you mean a text leader?

I would like to modify the arrow style so that the tilde (actually it resembles a front slash in SW) is perpendicular to the leader.   This is the way our company shows the location of a stamp on a drawing.

RE: Modify tilde?

With a drawing open, go to Tools > Options > Document properties > Arrows & in the Size section adjust the arrow dimensions. The dimensions do not appear to work as they should. Try .125" in 1st box ... .01" in 2nd box ... & .25" in the 3rd box (it doesn't seem to make a difference on my machine)

An alternative might be to use the wide open arrow style. Of the leader termination options given, it is the closest to being a straight line perpendicular to the leader. If your company can live with that, it's probably the simplest way to go ... unless someone on the forum knows which SW file controls the leader arrows and how to change it.
