Sepam 1000+ S20 Relay Configuring

Sepam 1000+ S20 Relay Configuring

Sepam 1000+ S20 Relay Configuring

(OP)
A Sepam 1000+ S20 is required to be tripped from a remote field 'Trip' pushbutton.
The 'Trip' pushbutton only momentarily closes when activated, it does not latch in the closed position.
The Sepam 1000+ S20's input will have to be latched and in addition to activating a trip output contact, it will also have to open an output contact to inhibit a reclose until the cause of the trip has been rectified.
It is desired to close the breaker from a remote 'close' pushbutton without locally resetting the Sepam 1000+ S20 from its front UMI panel.  This could be achieved by including a remote reset button, however this would also reset the OC+EF elements which is not desirable.
My recommendation is to replace the remote field momentary closed 'Trip' pushbutton with a latched normally closed pushbutton and configure the input to the Sepam 1000+ S20 to respond to a negative going signal.  The relay would reset when the stop pushbutton was reset (closed).
Does anyone with Sepam relay experience have any suggestions ?
