How to figure Horse Power

How to figure Horse Power

(OP)
Hello All,
Im new to this web page. I have been studying Electric Motor Mechanics as hard as i can right now, and i am attempting to build a bhub motorcycle for a custom motorcycle i am building.

So, i know all the parts that go into the Motor and have even fabricated some of the parts already to fit inside a donor hub, but what i am trying to figure out is how to i make the motor a certain horsepower...

is that defined by the number of wire wrappings?
the amount of current coming from the batery?
the number of stnacheons coming from the axle?

can someone please help me out or point me in a good direction as far as online sites go.

Thank You,
James Adamik
