Macro Help

Macro Help

(OP)
I want to select and edge and a face then run a macro.

What the macro will do is use the pre-selected face and create a sketch on it.  It will then use the pre-selected edge as a axis of revolution to create a revolved cut.

I cannot figure out how to have the macro use the pre-selected entities in the macro.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

RE: Macro Help

Selections in SW API are handled by the "Selection Manager" object.  You need to access this object in order to access selections.

Would you care to go into more detail?  Possibly how I can achieve what I noted in the first post.

Thanks in advance

RE: Macro Help

Have you looked at the Select and Rename Objects Example and Get Selected Objects and Types Example VB examples in the SW API help?

I looked at those examples and it makes a little more sense.  I just can't figure out how to put it all together.
