I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO IMPORT A IGES FILE FROM OUR SERVER
BUT FOR SOME REASON THE ONLY WAY I EVER GET IT TO WORK IS BY IMPORTING IT DIRECTLY FROM THE C DRIVE. IS THERE A FILE I CAN EDIT TO BE ABLE TO IMPORT IGES FROM A SERVER?

RE: iges

This is a shot in the dark.  Earlier versions of UG were more sensitive to file name length.  Multiple folder addresses become part of the file name and make the name longer.

RE: iges

While we're on the long shots....

Any spaces in that server path?  UG has also been know to be sensitive to spaces in paths.

RE: iges

Right about the directory path length (256 characters max, the last time I checked). It is also sensitive to uppercase letters, spaces (as someone else has mentioned) and some special characters.

Hope this helps.

RE: iges

It also must use a mapped drive to the server disk.
