RE: postgraduate degree in building services

Look to Penn State for some help.  I know they do some distance learning for undergrad, but not sure about grad work.  Not sure if they would be willing, but read what the professors there have published to find the one that suits you best.  Chances are slim, but you never know if they have an opportunity unless you try.

RE: postgraduate degree in building services

Dear fellow HVAC engineer,

why do you think you need a postgraduate degree in HVAC anyway?
By all means continue your education, but why spend more time and money in school on the knowledge that could better be gained in the field?
HVAC is one of those specialty fields where only PE (Professional registration in the States) would make a career difference.

best regards

Hi

Thanks pavlik.

I will have my PE license in Ontario, Canada soon …and I don’t think it will carry any weight if I want to register in the US. I am also told that I need to give technical exams (some states are exception) for the licensing. Having been out of school for almost 12 years ….thought it will be better to get back ….which might help if I have to take the exams.

Any useful info in regards to the licensing in US will be helpful

Thanks
