VOC vs. Vapor Molecular Weight??

VOC vs. Vapor Molecular Weight??

VOC vs. Vapor Molecular Weight??

(OP)
If I have a brew of hydrocarbons (eg. mixture w/ aliphatic diesters)
that has a published VOC of 7.813 lb/gal,
is there any way to guess a molecular weight of the vapor??
(vapor pressure = .200mmHg @ 68F)

RE: VOC vs. Vapor Molecular Weight??

From the density and VP, the VOC chemical the MW could be around 300 as for dibutyl sebacate with a MW=314.5, as a first estimate.
Only you can be more sure based on the chemical process originating the VOC.
