making automatic controls with PLC

(OP)
Hi all,
First of all I apologize for my bad english. I' try to be concise.
My company manufactures curb and gutter machines, concrete slipform pavers and canal machinery. We are introducing a new control system using the following components:
PLC: OMRON CJ1M CPU13
Sensors: DISONIC US 18K 1000 SAK/SYSC (Analog)
My first question is about the sensors. As far as this problem is concerned we are having a lot problems with the synchronization working with two sensors. The manufacturer says that you can use this sensors synchronizity, but it's not true. In fact we have to shoot the two of them separately. Besides this sensors are very sensitive to "noise", so we are introducing filters.
I have to aclarate that this sensors read from a wire horizontaly and verticaly.
We are thincking that using this sensors is a wrong way. Any suggestions? Maybe other mesure system with no contact with the wire.

Thank you

Regards

RE: making automatic controls with PLC

Sounds like you are using some kind of RF level probe to measure Level? or what are you measuring.

Soory, I see that my question is sort of explanation. We use racks of two ultrasound sensors for measuring the distance from the sensors to a string. Using it vertically you control the level and horizontally you control the direction of the machine. The reason of using a rack of two sensors is because we need to control a wide of 8 inch (20 cm.) and each sensors has a capacity 4 inch.
Let me know any doubt and thank you very much.

Regards
