Hi!

Our company bought a new software for the purpose of calculation of load flow, state estimation short circuit calculation... For short circuit calculations we need to enter data about (besides impedance voltage uk and nominal power and voltage):
- no-load current,
- no-load loss and
- load loss

Isn't impedance voltage enough to calculate short circuit calculations? How does these three parameters affect the results?

I think it is meant for calculating the winding resistances and then time constant (L/R) to find DC component in the fault current. The asymmetrical fault current is vectorial sum of symmetrical AC fault current component and the DC component.
