Where can I find this?
Where can I find this?
(OP)
Hello,
Normally this is used in the bike industry (fork). This is what I need to reduce my "workshop time"
Now we're welding inserts into a tube, but that's too much labor... So where can I find these "Starflanged nuts"? in all kind of sizes? or is it just made for the bike industry?
For a picture.

Kind regards.

RE: Where can I find this?
I think, and hope, you'll only find them in bicycle sizes.
For the non initiates, you push them down inside the aluminium tube, and then put a bolt in from underneath (in the photo's orientation), then torque the bolt up, which spreads the spring steel star washer out into the tube.
