Saving environment, etc in Wildfire...

Saving environment, etc in Wildfire...

Saving environment, etc in Wildfire...

What do I need to do to store my preferences, such as toolbar layouts, and colors?  Same thing with options, everytime I shutdown the program and restart it goes back to defaults.  I thought it would go back to the last known settings...

RE: Saving environment, etc in Wildfire...

It goes to the last known setting in the last place it looks.  Check out where you are picking up the config.pro.
Software looks on "main storage area" ie., server first.  Then the program load point ie., PC second.  Afterwards, in looks in the working directory.  You may be picking up one "up line" and only saving it locally.

What version are you running?

RE: Saving environment, etc in Wildfire...

I'm using Wildfire, and I seem to have figure out most of my problems except "Environment", I don't want all the Datum info on all the time.  I want to be able to turn it all off in "Environment" and have it load that way, but there's no option to save anything.  I've got the syscol.scl file called out in config.pro, and have config.pro saved in the start directory, but I'm still having some trouble with colors.  Even though I have it all setup like it's supposed to be many of the colors go to black???

Okay, I figured out my colors problem, now it seems my only issue, other than the Intralink password, is getting "Environment" settings to be remembered...

RE: Saving environment, etc in Wildfire...

Are you looking in config.pro for "datum_display no"?

I see mind ... do you see yours?

RE: Saving environment, etc in Wildfire...

(OP)
No, the only thing that appears to have anything to do with it is [keep_info_datums], and changing it to no doesn't seem to affect anything...

I just don't see why I can can make temporary changes to "Environment", but can't seem to find any way to save them...
