Presentation Quality Modeling and Image Handling

(OP)
Does anyone have any good references (e.g. textbooks, links, papers, etc.) on generating presentation-quality solid models and image handling?  I'm planning on doing something top-notch to go in marketing brochures.

Thanks in advance for your input!

RE: Presentation Quality Modeling and Image Handling

You should look into the render package.
Find backgrounds that match your graphics layout.  Keep the colors simple (three colors in basic, neutral or bold families).
Look in you industries publications for some fine examples.  Do a quick 10 second look and if it gets your attention rip it out.  These samples are what you may find sutable for your use.
