What salary should we expect as a FEA analyst?

What salary should we expect as a FEA analyst?

What salary should we expect as a FEA analyst?

(OP)
Hi,

I think that this forum is a great place to exchange our view points. Well, my question is not scientific, but it will help me to have a clear idea about different opportunities (relocations, …). Sometimes, we get an offer, but we don’t really know if it is a good deal.

I am looking for an equation which relates the salary of an analyst with his/her experience (for the same location). In other words, I would like to know how much annual salary increase is reasonable? And what is the usual entry level salary at your location?

I would like to know your feedback and your experience in this regard. Please specify the level of analyst (non-linear analysts or ...) and the location you are talking about.

Thank you for your help,
A.A.Y.

RE: What salary should we expect as a FEA analyst?

In Autralia a good non-linear analyst with a lot of experience and ability on a short term contract may get $240 per hour.

A typical graduate engineer with one or two years experience will be on $50000 per annum.

I think you need to define things a bit more.

So far as annual increases go, ours have averaged out at about 5% over the past 4 years, but some people get half that, and a few might get double.

In the UK you'd expect to get about £25k pa. Don't expect any pay-rises in real terms (beyond cost of living increases) unless you get promoted out of the job.

Hi Guys,

Thank you very much for your responses. I know that my question is not very clear, but I got an idea (at least for England & Australia).

From my side, a graduate engineer with one or two years experience will make $45000-50000 (Canadian Dollars) per annum in Canada (Montreal).

A good non-linear analyst may make $65000-$80000 per annum.

Have a nice day,
A.A.Y
