Determining the total number of a certain diameter

Determining the total number of a certain diameter

Determining the total number of a certain diameter

(OP)
Does anyone know a way to determine the total number of  specific diameter holes in a part or assembly?

For instance, I have a part with 6 different diameter holes.  I would like to be able to determine the total number of .250 diamter holes, the total of the .281 dia. holes, etc. (and hopefully be able to pass this parameter to a drawing)

Thanks in Advance!!

Laura

RE: Determining the total number of a certain diameter

Laura,

How about using nested logic statements? With only six diameters, this might not be to tough. Another option might be to use the Excel to do the sorting and counting with the Excel Analysis feature in BMX.

If you have a preference but are having trouble with the set up, post back and I can help out more.
