dimensions deleted ?

dimensions deleted ?

dimensions deleted ?

(OP)
I have a drawing made up, and after inserting some ordinate dims and rebuilding I get the message "Some dimensions are no longer in the model , missing dimentions will be deleted".  then they all disappear.  Can someone tell me why this message appears.

Thanks in advance.

RE: dimensions deleted ?

Sounds like something changed in the part. Maybe there is an error in the part that is causing this. But the kicker in this situation is, that they shouldn't dissappear. They should become Dangling. Unless... Do you have this option set:
Tools\Options\Document Properties\Detailing\Annotations Display\ "Hide Dangling dimensions and Annotations.

If so, uncheck it and see if you get the dangling dims to come back.

I don't seem to have that option at all. Probably because i am using sw2001. Any other suggestions?.

I think i found the problem. I had to uncheck "do not display duplicate dimensions" in the options. Thanks Scott for your time.
