SW2001 SP6 memory problems

SW2001 SP6 memory problems

SW2001 SP6 memory problems

(OP)
I just installed SP6 for SW2001, and now everytime I try and manipulate a solid, the program crashes on me.  It appears as though there is a bug in sp6 that just eats up all of my RAM.  Just thought that you folks would like the heads up on that.

RE: SW2001 SP6 memory problems

There is also another bug, having to do with creating or adding new drawing sheets.  I heard SWX is trying to get out SP7 as soon as possible to correct these errors.

RE: SW2001 SP6 memory problems

That's why I'm still using SP4. The NG has spoke of some bad things to do with SP6. Just back up to SP4. It seems to me that I did this once but I'm not sure. But I think you can rerun the SP4 download, instead of uninstalling then reinstalling.

Let me know if you try it, and it if works,
(Please, don't hold me responsible if it kills your set up.)
