Intracoastal Waterway Centerline

Intracoastal Waterway Centerline

(OP)
How do you determine the centerline of the intracoastal waterway?  I've got a dock permit that states that no construction can occur within 125' of the channel centerline.  I have tried to find a list of channel markers (monuments) online that would provide a distance to the centerline of the channel but have not been successful.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Intracoastal Waterway Centerline

A chart of the waterway showing the contours will give you the channel centreline. Alternatively ask the authority who is responsible for the waterway. They will have a chart showing the channel and then just scale off. A third alternative is to ask the person who issued the permit. He/she should know what they require!
