I would like to know which is the more adequate NDE for a concrete water pipe, with an internal steel pipe. I think x-rays or gamma-rays are not the best way to know the state of corrosion of the internal steel pipe.

The water pipe we had was reversed, concrete lined steel, and the only satisfactory inspection was with video cameras.  No matter what the case an initial video inspection if possible is the way to go.
