See Thro Parts in Drawings

(OP)
If you need to be able to see thro a part in an assembly drawing here is a technique you may wish to try.

Create two configurations of your assembly. One with the see thro part visibility switched off, and one that contains only the see thro part.

Insert the same view of both configurations into your assembly and position them so that they are aligned both horizontally and vertically by origin.

You will be able to see thro your see thro part.
